KOTC Announces 2004 event

Cape Cod, Massachusetts, USA2004 Verizon Wireless King of the Cape Freestyle Pro-Am will be returning for its 6th year to West Dennis Beach, Cape Cod in June 2004. This annual event showcases the best pro, amateur, and novice freestyle talent from the US and around the world. Title Sponsor Verizon Wireless has signed on again for another year.

The event would not be a success without the support of our local community, especially our local shop sponsors coming up big to support this event which started in 1999 and has continued growing ever since and attracting more competitors and spectators.
Returning event sponsors from last year include Inland Sea Windsurfing Company, Sailworld Cape Cod, and Island Sports. New to the fray is WindSnow&H20, the newest shop on the Cape. Bic Sport North America, distributors of Bic, AHD, Fiberspar, and Gaastra, has stepped up to the plate once again, with a leading sponsorship position at the event. New England Windsurfing Journal has again positioned itself to support in the promotion of the event throughout the New England region.
And in keeping the fun flowing from 2003, this years event will also include the WINDFEST DEMO TOUR, where participants can try out the latest and greatest gear for 2004 season. Manufacturers will be on site, showing their wares and providing clinics, and demos. Nevin Sayre will be hosting his KIDS CAMP again each morning on the weekend to induct new sailors into our sport and provide the foundation to growing our sport, year after year. Come out to support Nevin, introduce a young one to our sport and try out some new gear!
We are really excited about the party this year as we are returning to the culinary wonders of Jim Bremser of the CHATHAM SEAFOOD HOUSE, in Chatham (http://www.seafoodhouse.com/). They will host the party at their restaurant Saturday night. We will also be have an informal get together at the ISO BAR on Friday as well. We had the party here in 1999 and 2000, it was simply amazing and we are so excited to return. The Saturday party will wind down on the dance floor with a DJ. Chatham Seafood House is known for its Fish Tacos, fresh New England seafood, and great Asian style fusion menu.
The pre-registration period for the 2004 begins May 1st and will continue until May 30, 2004. SAVE MONEY NOW, by registering early.
